An overview of the self-guided modules:

 

Module 1—Overview of Safer Spaces Program & Training—a high-level overview of the Safer Spaces Professional Development Self-Guided Modules for 2S-LGBTQIA+ Inclusion.

 

Module 2—Why 2S-LGBTQIA+ Inclusion Matters—a introduction to the foundational knowledge and basic concepts necessary to engage meaningfully in this course.

 

Module 3—Concepts, Language & Pronouns—an exploration of the various identities and communities that form part of the 2S-LGBTQIA+ umbrella.

 

Module 4—History & Human Rights—an opportunity to consider the importance of examining history along a timeline that covers key events.

 

Module 5—Trans Experiences—a further exploration of the diversity and challenges unique to trans experiences.

 

Module 6—Institutional 2S-LGBTQIA+ Inclusion—an introduction to the concepts of oppression and power with the an eye to identifying barriers that may directly impact your workplaces and personal lives.

 

Module 7—Review & Resources—a closing and final review of the course content.
